Ian Botham is a cricketer who made his name in the cricket world. He has given the name ‘Botham’s Ashes because of his remarkable performance in 1981 and is still famous with this name. It is not because of that one performance. He is an all-rounder cricketer and always played outclass. Overall the number of test matches he played is 102 and the total scored he made was 5200 runs. Botham’s one-day international career is also awesome. He played 116 games and take total 145 wickets. He is still in the heart of people.

Stuart Broad is still playing test matches and till now he has played 161 test matches. He has taken 537 wickets. The highest score of Stuart Broad is 169. He becomes very famous because of his five-wicket hauls. For England, he played 56 T20 matches and 121 ODI matches. And he has taken 178 and 65 wickets in both formats.

4) Joss Buttler (2011-Present):

Joss Buttler is the current player of England’s team. During the World Cup, Buttler was England’s Vice Captain, and his match-winning run out was hailed as one of the best sporting moments of the year. Till now Buttler has made 2,907 runs in 57 test matches.

Wally Hammond is one of the most amazing English batsmen. He scored 295 runs against Newzeland in 1933 in a single day. He has played for 20 years and made 58.45 runs in 85 test matches. An unbeaten run of 336 and 22 hundreds rounded out his 7249 runs. Every time he played he played outclass. Hammond is the best among all of the cricketers. He is one of the great English cricketers in history.

6) Joe Root ( 2012-Now):

Joe Root is still playing in the England team. He is playing this sport for 10 years. Till now he has played 117 test matches and has made 9889 test runs at an average of 49.20 and 25 test hundreds along with 5 double hundreds in test cricket, and when he is done he will add thousands more runs. 

With 10,948 runs, the Yorkshire-born cricketer is second in the all-time runs chart behind Alastair Cook.

Till now he has played 152 ODIs and scored 6109 with an average of 51.09.

7) Graham Gooch (1975-1995):

Graham Gooch is a great cricketer. He did hard work to make a firm test career. He played around 118 test matches and has made a score of 8900 runs with a classy average of 42.58 including 20 test hundreds with the 2 with double hundreds. In which the highest score is 333.

Graham played 125 ODIs and make a remarkable score of 4290 runs with an average of 36.98. He was the highest run-maker in a test match. In the 1980s he won a match against the west indies and steals the heart of the viewers. He is still remembered because of that incredible success.

Fred Trueman is one of the great bowlers with the nickname “Fiery Fred”. He has the remarkable skills to shoot wickets. He played 67 tea matches and took 307 test wickets with an average of 21.58.
